“Roland Garros” .. Alcaraz and Tivo to the quarter -finals

On Sunday, Spaniard Carlos Alcaraz qualified for the quarter -finals in the men’s individual competitions in the France Open tennis championships, Roland Garros, the four major Grand Salam championships, currently ongoing in Paris.
Alcaraz qualified, after defeating the American Ben Shelton, on Sunday, 7/6 (8/8), 6/3, 4/6 and 6/4, in the fourth round of the competition.
Alcaraz, the second seed of the competition, set a date in the quarter -finals, next Tuesday, with American Tommy Paul, the 12th seed, who defeated Australian Alexei Poperin 6/3, 6/3 and 6/3, earlier.
The American Francis Tiavo joined the qualifiers for the quarter -finals, thanks to his easy victory over his German rival Daniel Altmir with a score of 6/3, 6/4 and 7/6 (7/4).
